Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety”, in particular, the
safety instructions (see page EN-4).
• Install, connect and clean the appliance as
described in chapter “Fitting and installa-
tion” (see page EN-9).
Anti-slip mat
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
When opening and closing the drawer,
heated food – especially liquids – can
spill over and cause scalding.

Operate the appliance only with a
non-slip mat in place.
■
Do not replace the non-slip mat with
kitchen paper or similar items.
• The anti-slip mat (2) ensures a firm hold of
the dishes. Operate the appliance there-
fore only with the anti-slip mat (2) inserted.
First-time use
When heating up for the first time,
odours may be emitted. The odours are
harmless and soon disperse. They are caused
by care products used to protect the metal
parts.
Ensure therefore that the room is well-venti-
lated when heating up the appliance for the
first time
Before being used for the first time, the warm-
ing drawer must be heated once when empty.
Use the following settings:
