Ensure suffi cient ventilation. Do not
cover the vents, for example with
oven mitts or cookery books!

When installing the appliance, follow
the dimension specifi cations for ven-
tilation.

the appliance.

Do not use any adhesives or bonding
agents for the installation.

Never
remove the cover inside the
cooking chamber! It serves to protect
the magnetron, which emits the mi-
crowaves.
Moving and unpacking
• Carefully unpack the appliance and re-
move all packaging items, plastic profiles,
adhesive strips and foam padding from the
cooking chamber, the outside of the appli-
ance and the reverse side of the appliance.
• To open the door when the appliance is not
plugged in, use the emergency door open-
er (10) (suction cup).
Press the emergency door opener onto the
right side of the cooking chamber door (7)
and pull the cooking chamber door (7)
open.
Installing the appliance
Installation alcove
The appliance can be installed in a tall cup-
board or underneath a work surface. The
following conditions must be observed at all
times:
The appliance should be installed
– at a maximum of 1 m away from an earthed
socket;
– away from a site directly above a cooking
area as the heat output from this may dam-
age the appliance.
The installation alcove
– must be at least 85 cm above the floor;
– must offer air passage above and below of
at least 250 cm
2
