Microwave-combi mode
The appliance has four functions which com-
bine the microwave and grill modes:

1. Place the dish in the cooking chamber and
close the cooking chamber door (7).
2. Press the “Set the heating mode” but-
ton (15) as many times as required until
the indicators

3. Use the (18) or (19) buttons to select
one of the functions from
C-1
to
C-4
.

4. Press the button (17) to confirm the set-
ting.
5. Set the cooking time using the (18) or
(19) buttons.
6. Press the button (17) to confirm the set-
ting and start the cooking process.
When the time indicator reaches
0:00
, five
beeps will sound and the appliance will
switch off.
Defrosting
WARNING
Health hazard!
The water that melts during defrosting
can contain harmful bacteria, especial-
ly with meat and poultry!

Avoid all physical contact with defrost
water.
■
Pour away the defrost water. Do not
use it for any other purpose.
■
Please ensure that you clean the dish-
ware you have used very thoroughly.
■
Afterwards, wash your hands very
thoroughly with soap and warm wa-
ter.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The grill rack is not suitable for pure
microwave mode.
■
Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode, convection mode or micro-
wave-combi mode.
When defrosting frozen food you have two
options available:
– Defrosting by weight (
dEF1
)
– Timed defrosting (
dEF2
)
Within this programme, you can freely select
your desired defrosting time.
Preparation:
• Ideally, use food which has been frozen at
-18 °C in portions that are as thin as pos-
sible.
• Removal all packaging.
• If you wish to defrost by weight, you need
to weigh the food.
• Place the food in an appropriately large
container which can collect the defrost wa-
ter without overflowing.
• Do not cover the food.
