Installation and connection
Aligning the appliance
1. Use a spirit level to check whether the ap-
pliance is level.
2. To level the appliance, use your hand or a
spanner to turn the levelling feet inwards or
outwards. To adjust a levelling foot
– turn anticlockwise to unscrew;
– turn clockwise to screw in.
3. Repeat this for the other levelling feet until
the appliance is level and stable.
Creating an electrical
connection
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
The appliance operates with dangerous
voltages.

Do not put into operation if the
mains cord is faulty or the appliance
displays other visible damage.
■
Never connect the appliance via a
multi-socket or an extension cord.
• Plug the mains plug into a properly installed
and earthed electric socket that has been
sufficiently secured (220–240 V~, 50 Hz,
10 A).
Before first use
1. After moving and installation, let the appli-
ance stand upright for 2 hours.
2. Then clean the drum’s interior using a soft
cloth.
3. Place a few clean dry cloths into the drum.
4. Press the “On/Off” button (7).
The display (11) will illuminate.
5. Use the cycle selector (10) to select the
“Airing” cycle.
6. Press the “Start/Pause” button (8).
The cycle will start.
7. After the cycle is complete, follow the in-
structions in chapter “Cleaning and main-
tenance” on page EN-20.
The compressor will make some
noise when it is in operation. This is
normal and is no cause for concern.
