Drying laundry
Before getting started
• Read the “Safety” chapter from page EN-4,
in particular the safety notices.
• Prepare the appliance as described in
chapter “Installation and connection” on
page EN-25.
Loading laundry
1. Open the appliance door (2).
2. Load the laundry. Pay attention to the tips
on page EN-18.
Do not exceed the maximum load allowed,
and do not jam any laundry items in the
door opening.
3. Close the appliance door by pushing it until
you hear it snap shut.
Starting the cycle
1. Press the “On/Off” button (7).
The display will illuminate.
2. Choose the correct cycle for your laundry
from the cycle table on page EN-12 and se-
lect it using the cycle selector (10).
3. You can further customise the selected cy-
cle according to the nature of your laundry
by changing the default settings using the
menu buttons on the control panel (9) (see
“Setting options” on page EN-15).
4. Press the “Start/Pause” button (8) to begin
the cycle.
The appliance will start operating. The indi-
cators will flash on the display (11), and the
time remaining will change automatically.
The remaining time display changes
occasionally based on the residual
moisture detected by the sensor.
Suspending and continuing
the cycle
NOTICE
Fire hazard and damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to fi re or cause the appliance
to malfunction.

Never try to open the appliance door
with force whilst a cycle is in progress
or once a cycle has ended.
• If you want to pause the cycle, for example,
to put in additional laundry, press the “Start/
Pause” button (8).
• Press the “Start/Pause” button (8) again to
continue the cycle.
Cancelling or modifying the
cycle
1. Press the “On/Off” button (7) to cancel or
modify an active cycle.
The appliance switches off.
2. Switch the appliance on again and use the
cycle selector (10) to choose a new cycle.
3. Press the “Start/Pause” button (8) to begin
the new cycle.
Cycle end
When the drying cycle is complete, the dis-
play (11) will show “
0:00
”, the dryer will sound
three times and the indicator for the corre-
sponding drying progress will flash.
If you do not remove the laundry from the
drum, the appliance will start the “Anti-crease”
mode, which lasts for 30 minutes.
