After selecting the desired cycle, the stain
type field shows you whether there is a de-
fault stain type setting for this cycle.
• To change the stain type, repeatedly
press the “Stain type” button (12) until the
desired type is shown on the display:
“Sweat stains”,
“Coffee stains”,
“Bloodstains”, or
“Egg stains”.
The setting influences the washing water
temperature, the drum rotation, number
and time of wash cycles.
You can now select further additional
functions or start the cycle.

After selecting the desired cycle, the “Save+/
Quick” field will show you the following set-
tings:
“Save+ cycle”
This function has the appliance reduce
the cycle’s energy and water consump-
tion whilst slightly increasing the washing
cycle’s time.
“Quick cycle”
If you load the appliance with only half of
what the cycle can handle, you can use
this function to shorten the cycle time
(see also “Dynamic quantity control” on
page EN-22).
• To select both additional functions, re-
peatedly press the “Save+/Quick” but-
ton (8) until the desired option is shown
on the display.
You can now select further additional
functions or start the cycle.
