Start time preselection
The cycle usually starts as soon as you have
pressed the Start/Pause button (7).
The appliance, however, offers you the option
to delay the start time. The delay can be set
in one-hour increments. The maximum delay
time is 23 hours.
1. Select the desired cycle using the cycle
selector (2).
2. Press the Start time preselection button (6).
A ‘1h’ is shown in the (3) display, meaning
that the selected cycle will start in one hour.
3. Press the Start time preselection but-
ton (6) repeatedly until the desired delay
time is set.
4. Press the Start/Pause button (7).
The cycle will start after the delay setting
has elapsed.
Terminate delay
If you have already pressed the Start/Pause
button (7).
• Press the Start time preselection button (6).
The cycle will now start.
If you haven’t already pressed the Start/
Pause button (7):
• Press the Start time preselection button (6)
repeatedly until no delay is shown in the
(3) display.
Safety lock (child safety lock)
The safety lock allows you to secure the ap-
pliance from unwanted use of the buttons.
You can activate the safety lock only if you
have previously selected a cycle.

• Press and hold both the Spin button (5)
and Start time preselection button (6) until
‘CL’ is shown in the display (3).
Now if any button is pressed or the cycle
selector (2) is turned, it will have no ef-
fect. A flashing ‘CL’ is only shown in the
display (3).
Deactivating the safety lock
• Press and hold both the Spin button (5)
and Start time preselection button (6) until a
flashing ‘CL’ is shown in the display (3).
The safety lock is deactivated again once the
‘CL’ display disappears after a few seconds.
