Cleaning the fridge
compartment
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Remove the chilled goods and place them
in a cool room.
3. Remove the vegetable drawer (8), the
door shelves (3) and (4), and the glass
shelves (10) and (11) and clean all the
parts in lukewarm soapy water. Then dry
everything thoroughly.
4. Wipe down the inside with warm water
and washing-up liquid.
When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
Wipe the interior dry and leave the door
open for a while to air.
5. Clean the door seal with clean water only.
It is sensitive to oil and grease.
6. Replace the glass shelves, vegetable
drawer and door shelves.
7. Place the food back in the fridge.
8. Plug in the mains plug again and use the
button (13) to set the temperature to
the desired level.
Cleaning the freezer
1. Set the temperature controller (9) to
“COLDER” at least 3 hours before
cleaning.
This way, the frozen food gets a cold re-
serve and does not thaw so fast.
2. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
3. Take the food out of the fridge and take
the frozen food out of the freezer com-
partment.
4. Ensure that your food is kept cool
enough.
5. Remove the drawers (7) and glass
shelves (14) from the freezer compart-
ment. Wash them in warm water with
washing up liquid and dry thoroughly.
6. Wipe down the inside with warm water
and washing-up liquid.
When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
7. Clean the door seal with clean water
only. It is sensitive to oil and grease.
8. Rub everything completely dry, including
the door seals, and allow to air briefly.
9. Replace the drawers and glass shelves
and put the food back into the fridge and
freezer compartments.
10. Insert the mains plug back into the socket
and turn the temperature controller to
“COLDER”.
11. As soon as a temperature of -18 °C has
been reached, turn the temperature con-
troller back to “NORMAL”.
