Set-up, connection and initial start-up
1. Close the appliance door.
2. Turn on the power using the button
(1).
3. Press and hold the button (2) for more
than 5 seconds to access the water
hardness setting selection menu.
4. Press the button repeatedly until the
desired setting is displayed. The se-
quence is H1 to H6.
5. Press the button (1) to save the se-
lected hardness level. If you do not
press the button , the setting is auto-
matically saved after 5 seconds.
Automatic regeneration
In order to make sure that the water soften-
ing system works, the water softening sys-
tem is automatically regenerated at regular
intervals.
The regeneration process of your appliance
begins with the drying cycle. The water and
energy consumption then increases and
the duration of the programme is extended.
There is no regeneration process in the
short programme.
The frequency of the regeneration process
depends on the selected water hardness:

Example ECO Programme: If the water
hardness level is H3 and under laboratory
conditions, the duration of the programme
increases by 4 minutes. The energy con-
sumption increases by 0.02 kWh and the
water consumption by 2.0 litres.
Test run
It is recommended that you carry out a test
run before the first dishwasher cycle in or-
der to remove residues from the manufac-
turing process and to ensure that the
device is fully functional. If no water es-
capes during the test run and if there are
no unusual noises, the appliance is ready
to use.
Carry out this test run when the dishwasher
is empty and without any dishwasher deter-
gent. For the procedure, see chapter "Dish-
washer operation".
