Set-up, connection and initial start-up
Choosing a suitable location
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
The appliance is heavy and bulky. Im-
proper handling of the appliance may
lead to injuries.
■
Seek the help of another person during
transport, installation and assembly.
■
If a trolley is used to move the appli-
ance, the appliance must be moved
as shown on the packaging.
■
Only lift the appliance as shown on
the packaging.
■
Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation loca-
tion, e.g. open doors and clear away
objects lying on the fl oor.
The planned location must fulfil the following
prerequisites:
– The location must be a dry and frost-safe
room with a firm ground.
– In order to install the connection pipes, the
dishwasher must be positioned near to a
washing/dishwashing basin or the floor
drain.
Positioning
You can position the dishwasher in two ways:
– as a freestanding appliance in the room
The space required for this corresponds to
the appliance measurements cited in the
following diagram.
– built under a worktop. In this case, you must
take the required recess dimensions into
consideration.

Appliance measurements
1. Remove cardboard, polystyrene and
adhesive strips from the inside of the dis-
hwasher, if you have not already done so.
2. Place the dishwasher in the desired posi-
tion.

3. In order to equalise unevenness in the
floor and set up the dishwasher on a level
horizontal base, you can screw the four
adjustable feet (31) in or out. The adjus-
table feet have slots around their circum-
ference. Insert a screwdriver into one of
them and use it to turn the adjustable foot.
Use a spirit level to align the dishwasher.
