Dishwasher detergents, rinse aids and dishwasher salts
Using multitabs
(2)
(5)
Many multitabs already contain dishwasher
detergent, dishwasher salt and rinse aid, me-
aning that you do not need to use these three
products separately. In this case, you can ig-
nore the indicator (5) and indicator (2).
If your water is in the
– “soft” to “medium” hardness range, multit-
abs will deliver good results.
– “hard” range, we would recommend that
you do not use multitabs and instead use
dishwasher detergent, dishwasher salt and
rinse aid individually.
To determine and adjust the water hard-
ness see page EN-33.
1. Push the closure (33) of the dishwasher
detergent dispenser (24) sideways.
The cover will pop open.
2. Place a multitab in the dishwasher deter-
gent dispenser (24)
3. Push the cover closed so that the
catch (33) clicks into place once again.
Adding rinse aid
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Excessive rinse aid can lead to increa-
sed foaming and can compromise the
rinsing results.
■
Wipe away rinse aid which has over-
fl owed immediately.
■
Take note of the markings for the ma-
ximum fi ll quantities (“max”) in the
rinse aid chamber.
Using unsuitable substances can cause
damage to the dishwasher.
■
Only put rinse aids which are suitab-
le for dishwashers into the rinse aid
chamber.
You do not need to add rinse aid to the
dishwasher detergent compartment if
you are exclusively using multitabs which al-
ready contain rinse aid.
Add rinse aid:
– prior to the first use,
– when the indicator (5) lights up.
As rinse aid is automatically dispensed during
operation, it ensures that the dishes are spot-
free and accelerates the drying process.
1. Open the cover of dishwasher rinse aid
dispenser (25).
