5 . Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
appliance .

6 . Use tweezers or a pair of pliers to pull the
filter (26) with gasket (27) out of the union
nut (32) . Rinse the filter under fresh water
and clean with a small, soft brush if nec-
essary .
7 . Re-insert the filter and screw the water
inlet hose back onto the appliance .
8 . Open the valve to check whether the
hose and connections are sealed .
Cleaning the lint trap

Allow soapy water to cool before re-
moving the lint trap.

When draining in an emergency, sub-
stantial amounts of water can leak
out.
The lint trap stops threads and other foreign
bodies ending up in the pump with the suds .
Clean the lint trap every 3 months .
1 . Switch off the appliance and take the
mains plug out of the socket .
2 . Close the valve .

3 . Carefully open the shutter (18) of the lint
trap with a flat object, such as with a flat-
tip screwdriver .
