– The appliance must be positioned in such
a way that the air outlet is not obstructed.

– Cut a recess in the worktop:
(a) 490 mm × (b) 870 mm.
(x) > 58 mm.
If a hob was already installed, the recess
cut for it must have the same dimensions.
Inserting the induction hob
1. Take the appliance out of the packaging.
2. Remove all protective and packaging ma-
terials.
3. Turn the appliance over and place it up-
side down on a soft, clean surface, for
example the packaging. Otherwise, the
glass ceramic may be scratched.

4. Insert the short, angled end of the two en-
closed clamps (16) into the slots provided
on the underside of the appliance.
5. Screw down the clamps using the en-
closed screws (17)
6. Place the appliance, with the sensor field
facing forward, into the worktop recess.
Align it evenly and press it firmly into
place.

The appliance is fastened using the two
clamps (16).
7. Clean the appliance thoroughly before its
first use (see “Cleaning the induction hob”
on page EN-20).
