Gennaker Sock
Pass the narrow part of the gennaker sock through the throat of the cowling and
underneath all lines. Tuck the hem of the sock up under the throat moulding and
moving forward feed in between the cowling and the deck. Pull the sock forward and
pass throat lines through the stemhead cover and tie a stopper knot on the port side.
Purchase can be pulled on the starboard side using the towline attachment point.
Pass a “mouse” line thr
ough the sock to assist when reeving the spinnaker halyard.
Attach without tension both fore and aft. Tie the gennaker sock to the saddle fitted on
the aft bulkhead.
