Remove the old showerhead
•
While holding the shower arm, remove
the existing showerhead by turning
counter-clockwise with an adjustable
wrench.
•
Thoroughly clean the threads on the
shower arm with a wire brush.
•
Slide decorative rubber boot onto the shower arm, narrow end first.
Push it up and out of the way.
•
Make sure that the self-sealing filter
gasket is fully seated in the
showerhead by grasping the black
tab and turning clockwise as far as
it will go without forcing it.
•
Screw the showerhead onto the
arm, taking care not to cross
thread.
•
Finish tightening with wrench,
taking care not to over-tighten or
showerhead and / shower arm
may be damaged. Turn on the
water and check for leaks. Pull
boot down over showerhead ball
joint.
