Deleting a patient from the database

A patient may be deleted from the database at any time. This process deletes all of the patient’s records. A warning
message will appear confirming the requested deletion.

Choose trial type

The type of trial to be performed is selected from this menu.

Performing an Assessment

A patient assessment is typically performed in order to validate sensor performance and the patient’s abilities. It is
used to measure and quantify specific swallow activity (e.g. typical swallow, swallow duration, effortful swallow,
pre-motor time, etc.) or oral motor activity.

NOTE:

Any button with a L, M, or R in a box format indicates that the foot switch can be used in place of the

mouse by simply tapping the left, right, or middle pedals.
