Step 11
Place the fuselage inverted on the work table and set
the landing gear on the fuselage. Apply a drop of
threadlock to each screw and use a 3/32-inch hex
wrench to secure the landing gear to the fuselage with
the four screws.
Step 12
Place a #6 washer on a 6-32 x 1/2-inch button head
machine screw. Apply threadlock to the screw and
install the shock strut to the fuselage with a 3/32-inch
hex wrench.
Step 13
Attach the lower end of the shock strut to the landing
gear leg with a 6-32 x 1/2-inch button head machine
screw and 6-32 nylon lock nut. Use a 3/32-inch hex
wrench and 5/16-inch wrench to secure the strut to
the landing gear leg.
Step 14
Repeat steps 1 through 13 for the opposite side.

#1 Phillips screwdriver
Step 1
Hold the ignition unit on the right side of the firewall
with the top of the case approximately level with, and
1/8-inch in from the tab on the side of the fuselage.
Use a pencil to mark the outline of the ignition unit on
the firewall.
