Step 11.
Tighten the 3mm screw slightly. Then, insert the stop-
per, clunk, and tubes into the fuel tank. Position tubing as
shown in Step 9. Note vent tube position. After stopper assem-
bly is inserted, finish tightening the 3mm screw. This will allow
the rubber stopper to form a seal.
Important:
Remember which
tube is the fuel pickup and which is the vent so you can properly
connect the fuel tank to the engine. You may want to mark one of
the tubes with a piece of masking tape identifying which one it is
(i.e., either “V” or “F”).
Step 12.
Install the fuel tubing onto the two tubes and feed
through the holes in the firewall as you press the fuel tank into
position. Foam in the tank compartment can be used to provide
some vibration damping and help support the fuel tank (foam
not provided). Some trimming of the fuel tank location may be
necessary to fit the tank into the fuselage.
Step 13.
If you are going use a Zenoah gasoline engine, you
will need to relocate where the fuel tubing exits the compart-
ment. We suggest below the plywood motor mount.
