Operation

E. Horn
By pressing one of the horn keys, a warning sound is emitted to warn
others of hazardous situations.
The horn continues to sound as long as the key is pressed.
F. Ignition key
The ignition key needs to be inserted in the ignition lock in order to switch
on the scooter.
All of the Fortress Calypso’s functions can be operated only when the
ignition key has been inserted in the ignition lock, with the exception of the
lights and the hazard lights.
The hazard lights and lights can always be operated, even when the
ignition key has not been inserted in the lock.
If the ignition key is inserted in the lock and the scooter is not used for a
period of time, a beeping sound is emitted after 20 minutes.
G. Hazard lights
Pressing this key turns on the hazard lights.
The hazard lights should be used if you suspect that you will not be seen
by other road users, or if the scooter is at a standstill due to a defect.
Pressing this key once more turns off the hazard lights. A bleeping sound is
emitted when the hazard lights are turned on.
