10.3 Gas Pipe Fitting Instructions
With reference to Figure No. 6a - Remove half union
and gas valve from gas train. Ensure gas valve/
manifold bracket does not suffer undue stress/
movement. Affix half union and gas valve assembly
to gas pipe as shown using proprietary sealing
compound. Ensure gas valve lever is correctly
orientated. Offer gas pipe to boiler as shown. Bracket
should be mounted as shown. Bracket’s position will
be dependent on boiler size.
