Reset Procedure
NOTE:
Doing the following procedure will erase all parameters, settings and registrations, returning the XK-2 to the
original Hammond factory default settings. To ensure that important data is saved, save your information to a MIDI Data
recorder before doing this procedure.
TRY THIS:
1.
Touch the EDIT Select Touch Button. The red LED will light, and the Information Center Display
should look like this:

Touch the SYSTEM Select Touch Button three times. The Information Center Display should look like
this:

Touch the PAGE "

" Select Touch Button eight times. The Information Center Display
should look like this:
4.
Now select the option you wish by doing the following:
Use the PAGE "

" and the PAGE “

” Select Touch Button to select “RESET ALL” (reset all parameters), “RESET
PRESET) (reset only the Preset data), “RESET LESLIE” (reset only the Leslie parameters) or “RESET SYSTEM (reset
only the System parameters).
5.
After you have your selection from the above choices, touch the VALUE "

" Select Touch Button. The
Information Center Display will show, “Are you sure?”
6.
If you DO NOT want to reset the XK-2, touch the EDIT Select Touch Button. The red LED will turn
“OFF.” If you want to reset the XK-2, touch the VALUE "
>
" Select Touch Button. The Information Center
Display will briefly display the opening message and the XK-2 will be reset.

Quick All Reset Procedure
If you already know that you want to reset all of the XK-2's parameters to their factory default settings, do the following:
1.
Turn the XK-2 “OFF.”
2.
Touch and hold all three of the DRAWBAR SELECT Touch Buttons (UPPER, LOWER and PEDAL).
3.
While holding the three DRAWBAR SELECT Touch Buttons, turn the power to the XK-2 “ON.” All
parameters will be reset.
