5. HANDLING
CAUTION: All equipment loading and unloading operations must be carried out by
specialized personnel.
The weight of the crusher can be seen from the data reported in § 2.10, “Technical specifications of HAMMER
CRUSHERS”.
To handle the equipment, use the holes provided for this purpose, using suitable lifting
accessories (eyebolts, chains, slings, etc.).

For a long service life of the crusher, it is necessary to disconnect the Hammer FP Series fixed crusher after
completion of the work, taking care to first relieve the residual pressure. The crusher must then be cleaned of
excess oil, dust and/or residual sludge and, above all, dried: then grease it completely according to the instructions
in § 6.3 and close the hydraulic connections and cover the cylinder. Store the crusher in a closed place, away from
weather and humidity.
