Hardware - Card Reader (continued)

Press 1 for Set Reader Model

Using the arrows on the keypad, move the marker to the model of card reader. 

Press F4 to save

. 

 

When the Card Reader Type is set to MagStripe, this allows you to select which card reader model is 

connected in the system. The options are IDTech OmNI and Neuron SCR9XXF. 

•  Press 2 to go back

*Note: if you are using a Mag-Stripe card reader configuration is complete. If using the Moneris or 

Worldpay solution, refer to the menus below.

If your card reader type is set to EMV_Moneris, the Card Reader menu will look like:

To view the current settings stored in the card reader use menu option 1.

3.  Merchant Id

4.  Terminal Id

•  Press 1 for Reader IP Address

Selecting this option queries the reader to obtain its current IP address.

•  Press 2 for Hardware Info

Selecting this option queries the reader to obtain its current serial number and PTID number.
