HELPFUL HINTS:
• When heating soups, stews, and solid, liquid-based foods, stir occasionally.
• Clean pot as soon as it has cooled. Once food has dried onto the surface, it is more difficult to remove.
• When heating milk or cheese-based soups, set control knob to
Warm
setting to prevent scorching. Stir often.

IF YOUR HOT POT BOILS DRY:
If your hot pot is accidentally plugged in without being filled with liquid or food, or is allowed to boil dry, the hot pot will cycle continuously,
turning off, cooling down, and turning back on. You should:
• Unplug the hot pot and wait about 15 minutes for the heater to cool down.
• Refill the hot pot; then use as normal and check that the hot pot functions correctly.
