Respiratory protection
Wear appropriate respiratory protection if applicable material-specific dust
limits are exceeded.
The personal protective equipment must be provided by the operator and must comply
with the applicable requirements.
In addition, the national regulations as well as specifications from the workplace risk
assessment and, if necessary, internal instructions of the operator must be observed.

Preventive measures

Always be prepared for accidents.

Keep first aid equipment (first aid kit, blankets, etc.) within easy reach.
–
Familiarise personnel with accident reporting, first aid, fire fighting and rescue
facilities.

Keep the access routes for rescue vehicles clear.
Measures to be taken in the event of accidents
–
Trigger an emergency stop on the lifting mechanism on which the threaded lifting pins
are used.
–
Rescue people from the danger zone.
–
In case of cardiac and/or respiratory arrest, initiate resuscitation immediately.
–
In the event of personal injury, notify the first aid representative and an emergency
doctor or the emergency services.
–
Clear the access routes for rescue vehicles. If necessary, assign someone to instruct
the rescue services.
