CONNECTION TO THE WATER SUPPLY NETWORK
For cold and hot water pipes, you can use steel, plastic or copper pipes, or flexible
connection rated for 0.6 MPa nominal mains water pressure.
When connecting to a copper pipeline, the use of insulating spacers is compulsory.
The package of spacers distributed by HAJDU Hajd
úsági
Ipar Zrt. includes 2 pieces.
One spacer must be inserted on the hot water pipe of the container immediately,
while the other one on the cold water pipe, between the already installed
assemblies and the copper water pipeline.
If no spacer is used at the connections,
we neither provide guarantee for failures attributable to the corrosion of the
threaded tank pipes, nor assume liability for damages caused by the same.
Subject to the type, you can connect the tank to the water network as shown in
Figure 3 or Figure 4.
IT IS FORBIDDEN AND DANGEROUS TO EXPOSE THE CONTAINER TO PRESSURES
HIGHER THAN THE ALLOWED OPERATING PRESSURE!
1. Closing valve
2. Manometer connection
3. Pressure-reducing valve
(only for mains water pressures
exceeding 0.6 MPa)
4. Combined safety valve
5. Drain (into sewage network)
6. One-way valve
7. Faucet with shower
8. Faucet
Figure 3
The combined safety valve is included
with the container. Connect it to the
hot water tank with internal thread
Rp1/2, and to the water network with
external thread G1/2.
The valve must be installed on the cold
water pipeline
IMMEDIATELY
before
the container observing the flow
direction indicated by the arrow.
Figure 4
The outlet should be directed vertically
downwards, and the blow-off lever
should be accessible.
