8. MAIN UNITS AND FUNCTIONS
Your appliance is equipped with an intelligent, self-learning
temperature control, which automatically starts up,
when the appliance is put in operation.
8.1
The limiter is located in a common housing with the regulator, and they form a
single unit. If the regulator function fails, the limiter protects the hot water tank
from harmful overheating by breaking the heating circuit.
The re-activation of the limiter must be performed by a qualified professional
(from the contracted service station, during the warranty period) after
troubleshooting the cause of overheating.
8.2
The first week of usage constitutes the learning phase for the appliance. Then
the tank, depending on water withdrawal habits experienced so far, automati-
cally adjusts the temperature of water in the temperature range of your choice
(see 8.3)
. During standby periods, the electronic control of the appliance tries
to maintain water temperature at the lower end of the preset temp. range.
Therefore, the solution brings you direct energy saving, as the tank consumes
less electricity during standby periods than water heaters with a fixed
temperature setting. The temperature of the water in contact with the tank may
not exceed 80 °C.
8.3
The temperature of the water in the hot water tank can be regulated from the
outside by means of a rotary knob. You can set the regulator to minimum
position by turning the knob counterclockwise until it stops. If you turn the knob
clockwise, you can increase the desired temperature according to the symbols.
