” symbol: frost protection
You can set the regulator to zero by turning the knob counter-clockwise until it
stops ( „ ” symbol). In this mode, you can ensure the frost protection of the
appliance (except when the unit is taken out of use or a power failure occurs).
Frost protection does not apply to the water supply network and assemblies.
In frost protection mode, the water temperature may not fall under app. 7°C,
while energy consumption remains minimal.

„ • ” symbol: recommended default setting
This is the default setting of the regulator, we recommend it as the first setting.
In this setting, a unit of properly chosen volume will surely satisfy your hot water
need with average use.
If you find that hot water supply is satisfactory in the “–” setting, you are advised
to choose this setting in the future.
