FF Temperature Board
The FF temperature board is located inside the
refrigerator behind the control housing assembly,
and can only be replaced as part of the assembly
(see Control Housing Removal in the previous
section). The temperature board informs the
main board of the set temperature for the
refrigerator by sending 2 to 5 VDC to the board.
Voltage to the main board will increase the colder
that the setting is. If the main board does not
receive this voltage, the compressor and fans will
not operate, and only the lights will be on. The
temperature board also provides the operating
voltage to the FF back light LEDs.
Control Housing Assembly
The control housing assembly is made up of
two back light LEDs, control knobs, a freezer
manual damper, control housing cover, and a FF
temperature control board.
Freezer temperature is not electronically
controlled. When the freezer control knob is
turned to a colder position, it is lowering a manual

thermistor in the refrigerator section to take

The refrigerator knob turns a shaft on the
temperature control board which informs the
main board what the set temperature is (see
FF
Temperature Board in this section).
Control Housing Removal
1. Remove the control housing cover by pushing
in on the bottom of the cover while rotating
the bottom of the cover up.
2. Remove two 1/4 in. hex head screws.

tower and remove the 6-pin connector from
the FF temperature board.
