The sequence will start with a verification of the memory card status and if OK the
upload will start,

After finalized upload, the message “Verify OK” will be indicated in the loader pro-
gram and “Verified OK” will appear on the control system display. The system must
be reset by pressing the Reset button on the main card to start with the new soft-
ware version, see

8.6
Drive parameter upload
After the firmware is installed in the control unit and the unit is restarted, the upda-
ted parameter file can be uploaded to the control unit with SpiderCom. The system
needs a restart after download
8.7 Drive log reconfiguration
Spider control unit contains a drive log to store drive parameters during long time.
At update from a 4.x firmware version the drive log configuration will be reset and a
reconfiguration is required.
The reconfiguration must be done by using the navigation buttons close to the dis-
play on the local control panel.

3 seconds to get in to the menu.
Go down to SETUP with and continue into the setup with .
Go down to LOG FUNCTION with and continue with .
Password ARNE is selected with and
for selection of each character.
Check TIME ZONE (relation to UTC/GMT) and TIME/DATE (format ddmmyy hh:mm in
UTC/GMT time) and change if needed.
Change the settings in each LOG according to the readings as described in

The settings will be stored at the new memory card
