As an alternative, use the Industrial Ethernet web page to know the modules assigned and the
telegram composition. Use a browser and enter the module IP address. Refer to
Figure 9
on page 40.

Section 8 LED status, diagnostic and messages
On the PLC, put the system in Online mode and examine the status of the network.
On the controller, push the main menu icon and select
Output > PROFINET / EtherNet/IP > Status .
Examine the Status messages:
• Idle —Module state when the PLC is in stop mode.
• Pending —Configuration process and the connection is opened.
