Section 6 Configure the system settings
Set the date, time, display backlight and power off time settings at the
instrument.
1. Push Enter to set the instrument to on.
2. Select SYSTEM > System Settings .
3. Push the UP and DOWN arrows to select an option, then push
Enter to change the setting.
Option Description
Language Changes the displayed language (default: English).
Note: Push the UP arrow to change the setting. Push Enter
to save the changes.
Screen off
time Sets the inactivity period after which the display backlight is
set to off if no keys are pushed. Default: 30 seconds.
Note: Push the UP and DOWN arrows to change the
setting. Push Enter to save the changes.
Auto Power
off time Sets the inactivity period after which the instrument power
is set to off if no keys are pushed, except during a
measurement. Default: 60 seconds.
Note: Push the UP and DOWN arrow to change the setting.
Push Enter to save the changes.
Date & Time Sets the date and time.
1. Push the UP and DOWN arrows to select the date
format.
Options: MM-DD-YYYY (default), YYYY-MM-DD or DD-
MM-YYYY with "-", "." or "/" as separator
2. Push the RIGHT arrow.
3. Push the UP and DOWN arrows to set the time format
(12-hour or 24-hour format).
Options: 24H HH:MM (default), 24H HH:MM:SS, 12H
HH:MM or 12H HH:MM:SS
4. Push the RIGHT arrow.
5. Set the date (year - month - day).
6. Set the time (hour : minute : second).
7. Push the RIGHT arrow to select OK .
8. Push Enter to save the changes.
