Remove the baffle assembly from the flow chamber. It is "keyed" with
a slot and guide rib on the left side to fit only one way in the flow
chamber.
4.
Wipe the interior surface of the flow chamber and the light source
and detector windows with a soft, clean, damp cloth.
5.
Rinse the baffle assembly with clean water.
6.
Install the baffle assembly in the flow chamber.
7.
Make sure that the O-ring on the flow chamber cover has silicone
lubricant.
8.
Set the flow chamber cover on the flow chamber. Turn the cover

turn clockwise to install.
Replace the fuses
D A N G E R
Electrocution hazard. Remove the instrument from the mains power to
change the fuses. Disconnect the power cord or turn off the breaker at
the panel.
D A N G E R
Fire hazard. Use the same type and current rating to replace fuses.
1.
After power is removed from the controller, open the controller. Refer
to
General wiring procedure
on page 10.
2.
Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a new fuse. Refer to
Figure 5
on page 10 for the fuse locations. Refer to
Replacement
parts and accessories
on page 27 for the replacement fuse kit.
3.
Close the controller. Turn the four screws to tighten.
Replace a light source or detector
D A N G E R
Electrocution hazard. Remove all power from the instrument and relay
connections before this maintenance task is started.
Refer to the replacement instructions supplied with the new light source
or detector. Make sure to apply silicone lubricant to the O-rings on the
new light source or detector before it is installed.
Calibrate the instrument after a light source or detector is replaced.

Primary calibration and sample calibration
on page 21.
Note: The manufacturer recommends that the two light sources (or two detectors)
be replaced at the same time.
Take out of operation
For long-term storage, take the instrument out of operation.
1.
Clean the flow chamber. Refer to
Clean the flow chamber
on page 23.
2.
Dry the flow chamber with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
3.
Remove power to the controller.
Troubleshooting
When the system diagnostics identify a condition that is not typical, the
Measure screen flashes "Warning Check Status".
Push
MENU
and select TEST/MAINT>STATUS to see the system status
messages. Push
ENTER
repeatedly to scroll through the status
messages. Refer to
Table 5
for descriptions of the status messages.
