8. Checklist
Form for visual inspection of fall protection runners pursuant
to health and safety
regulations and manufacturer specifications.
According to the BetrSichV, requirements are stipulated with respect to
the property of the work equipment, in this case PPE.
A qualified person*) must regularly check work equipment to ensure it is
in a safe and correct state.
All components must be properly checked by means of a visual inspection
for function and safe state.
The checking intervals are influenced by the operating conditions (load
requirements, frequency of use and nature of defects from previous
checks).
The results of the visual inspections must be documented (Section 11 Be-
trSichV) and kept.
