Receive
: Debugging information switch for all packets received on the specified
interface at the physical layer.
Transmit
: Debugging information switch for packets transmitted on the specified
interface at the physical layer.
interface ethernet
interface-number:
Specified interface number.
Description
Use the
debugging physical
command to enable debugging information switch for
packets transmitted/received on the specified interface at the physical layer. Use the
undo debugging physical
command to disable debugging information switch for
packets transmitted/received on the specified interface at the physical layer.
Example
# Enable debugging information switch for packets transmitted/received on the
specified interface at the physical layer.

Description
Use the

command to configure a string that describes an interface. Use

undo description
command to delete a string that describes an interface.
Using the
description
command to describe an interface does not affect the running of
the interface. You can run the
display
command to view this description.
