Verify that the switch is connected correctly to the RPS.

Verify that the RPS is operating correctly.

Verify that the ambient temperature of the switch is in the acceptable range and ensure
good ventilation for the power module. Overtemperature can cause the power module to
stop working and enter the protection state.

If the problem persists, contact H3C Support.

If the system status LED is on but the RPS status LED is steady yellow, an AC input failure
might have occurred.
To resolve the problem:
a.
Verify that the AC power cord connects the switch to the power source correctly, and the
AC-input power receptacle on the switch and the AC power outlet are in good condition.
b.
Verify that the AC power source is operating correctly.
c.
If the problem persists, contact H3C Support.

If the system status LED is on but the RPS status LED is off, an RPS input failure might have
occurred.

Symptom

modules.
