Parameter
seconds
: Response timeout time of RADIUS servers, ranging from 1 second to 10
seconds.
Description
Use the
timer response-timeout
command to set the response timeout time of
RADIUS servers.
Use the
undo timer response-timeout
command to restore the default response
timeout timer of RADIUS servers.
By default, the response timeout time of the RADIUS server is 3 seconds.
Note that:

If the switch gets no response from the RADIUS server after sending out a
RADIUS request (authentication/authorization request or accounting request) and
waiting for a time, it should retransmit the packet to ensure that the user can obtain
the RADIUS service. This wait time is called response timeout time of RADIUS
servers; and the timer in the switch system that is used to control this time is called
the response timeout timer of RADIUS servers. You can use the
timer
response-timeout
command to set the timeout time of this timer.
