Configuration Restoration
The configuration restoration function allows you to upload the
configuration file with the extension of .cfg to the device in use for the
next system boot.
Select
System Management
>
Configuration
from the navigation
tree and click the
Restore
tab to enter the page shown in Figure 4-4.

Click
Browse…
and specify the configuration file with the
extension of .cfg to be uploaded from the pop-up dialog box.
Then click
OK
to start uploading the configuration file.

Click
Browse…
and specify the configuration file with the
extension of .xml to be uploaded from the pop-up dialog box.
Then click
OK
to start uploading the configuration file.
Backup & Restoration Through USB Interface
The files needed in device running, such as application files and
configuration files, are stored in the storage medium of the device. To
facilitate management of the files on the device, the device provides
the fast backup and restoration functions.

Fast backup: Backs up files on the device to the destination
device through the USB interface.
z
Fast restoration: Uploads files to the local device through a USB
interface. You can specify the uploaded application file or
configuration file as the main application or configuration file.
