Upgrading Applications
The same procedure is used to upgrade the three types of application files. This section describes how
to upgrade the main application file.
Upgrading Applications Through a Serial Connection
Follow these steps to upgrade the main application file through a serial connection:
1) Use the serial interface submenu to update application files. Select

in the BootWare main menu
to enter the serial interface submenu. For details about this menu, refer to section “Serial interface
submenu” on page 5-5.
2) To improve the upgrade speed, first modify the serial interface baud rate. For details, refer to
section “Modifying serial communication parameters” on page 5-7.
