The ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat and the backrest of the car seat.
Now put the two ISOFIX terminals (IK) on to the ISOFIX anchors (IA) in the car and CLICK them
into place until you hear a << CLICK >>.
Please check the markings on BOTH PAGES, whether the seat is correctly connected to the two
ISOFIX anchors (IA) of the car.
GREEN: the clamp is fixed CORRECT.
RED: the clamp is NOT fixed CORRECT,
Correct!
Only a proper fixing of BOTH TERMINALS ensures that the seat is secured properly and offers
full protection to your child in the car!!!
Please check once more, if the child car seat is securely fixed onto the seat.
4. Buckle up the child
Place the MaxiFix PLUS on the car seat, set your
child in the Booster and secure your child with
the lap (O) and diagonal belts (N) of the three-po-
int-vehicle-belt.
Now fasten the three-point seat-belt with an audi-
ble »CLICK« sound (fig.2).
Make sure that the lap belt runs under the fixation lugs (C) on both sides and that the diagonal
belt leads only under the fixation lugs (C) on the side of the belt buckle (Q).
If necessary, use the vehicle’s belt height adjuster to correspond to your child’s height. The lap
belt must run as low as possible over the child‘s hips on both sides.
The diagonal belt should be centred over the child‘s shoulder, the lap belt should run as low as
possible over the groin. Make sure that the diagonal strap is straight and not too close to the
child‘s neck. All straps must be tight against the child‘s body and must not be twisted.
Attention:
Never fasten the lap seatbelt differently, otherwise the child will not be held properly.
5. Use of the additional belt guide
In some vehicles, the diagonal belt does not run
optimally over the shoulder area of your child. Always
check that the diagonal belt is in the correct position
when using it as a booster seat. If the diagonal belt
does not run within the intended range, please use the
supplied flexible belt guide.
5.1. Attaching the flexible belt guide
Pass the diagonal strap through the strap guide eye-
let. Make sure that the strap is not twisted and runs
diagonally behind your child‘s back.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the daigonal belt is al-
ways in the designated area.
