With this mode, the charger provides a voltage of 16,5V
±
0,2V with a limited current of 1,5A
±
10%.
If the battery is deeply discharged (4,5V), the function will be active during 3 hours maximum. As
soon as the battery is accepting the charge, the charger will shift automatically to the charge mode :
the indicator “recover” blinks differently (0.5s ON / 1s off) and the charge indicators blink according to
the evolution of the charge.
MODE 13,6V/Max.
This function is useful to maintain the charging process during an extended period (for instance:
wintering) the 12V batteries, waterproof or without maintenance (SLA, VLRA, AGM, GEL) from 14 to
230Ah. It is particularly adapted for batteries which capacitance should always be at the maximum, as
for instance golf cars, power sweeper, or batteries used for emergency…
Select the mode by pressing , until the indicator 13,6V/Max lights. With this function, Gystech
7000 will start the maintenance charge with a constant voltage of 13,6V
±
0,2V and with a limited
current of 5A
±
10%. The protections anti-spark and against the overloads are activated.
MODE SUPPLY 5A.
This function changes your battery charger into a power supply (without any need to connect a
battery). The charger provides a voltage of 12V with a limited current of 5A±0,5A. With this mode, the
anti-spark system is disabled. However, the protection against the polarity reversal keeps active.
To choose this function, press 3 seconds on .
P
ROTECTION
Gystech 7000 charger is protected against short circuits and polarity inversion. Its anti-sparck system
avoids any spark while connecting the charger to the battery (inactive system with the supply mode).
The charger protects itself (charging interr indicator switched on if the battery voltage is
< 4,5V±0.5V for a 12V battery or < 16V±0.5V for a 24V battery).
Gystech 7000 charger is protected by a thermal sensor. During the charging process, if the charger
becomes too hot or due to extreme ambient temperature, the power output is automatically reduced
to protect itself from damage. Charger increases power automatically when the ambient temperature
drops.
PROBLEMS
,
CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
In case of problem, the charger automatically switches on protection mode and the power
indicator lights on. The system will remain in that position until the user intervenes.
