Temperature Sensing Accuracy Check
1.
Sonata System is designed with built-in self-calibration and safety check functions. No
manual calibration is needed during the regular service.
2.
Sonata System RF energy delivery is controlled to reach and maintain tissue temperature of
105
°
C as measured by thermocouples in the Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) Handpiece.
3.
Temperature variation (variation between signal to signal when measuring the same
reference medium) is the primary test of temperature sensing accuracy. The test below
evaluates the accuracy of the Sonata RF Generator to read all thermocouples of each
handpiece which was calibrated at Gynesonics manufacture.
