Unpacking and preparation 

Visual check of lift

Should the packaging be damaged on receipt, each part of LP12 must be 

carefully examined for visible defects or deficiencies. In case of suspected 

damage, do not use the lifting platform until authorised by qualified service 

staff or the Guldmann Service Team.

Preparation of the lifting platform

Charge the batteries of the lifting platform, see under 1.10 on charging.

After charging, the lifting platform is ready for use.

Operation and indicator light

The lifting platform will be switched on automatically when one of the buttons 

on the control panel is pressed. The green indicator light is switched on when 

the lifting platform is being used. The yellow or red indicator light will be  

switched on 10 to 15 seconds after the last lift has been carried out to indicate 

that the lifting platform is to be recharged.

Working the lifting platform

Unlock the lifting platform with a key 

(pos. 1). Lift up the front edge of the 

access ramp and push it towards the 

back (pos. 2) of the lifting platform, thus 

disengaging the lock which must be 

kept during the operation of the lifting 

platform. 

Then raise the steering handle  

and turn it 90 degrees into steering 

position (pos. 3), release the brakes 

(pos. 4) by pressing down the right 

side of the brake pedal.
