Step 3: ASSEMBLE THE CAB FRAME ON THE MOUNTING BAR
Notice on the assembled mounting bar the four upright posts. Insert one middle
Rib [C] onto each of these four posts, making sure the tapered male end with the
PVC tube is pointing up. Take the remaining four middle ribs [C] and insert them
onto the installed middle ribs (one on each), sliding them into the PVC tubes on
the lower installed set of middle ribs.
Next, insert the four upper ribs [B] into the PVC tubes on the upper most
middle ribs. Rotate the free ends of the upper ribs so the all face each other.
Find the top connector [A] and insert each open end of the middle ribs into the
PVC tubes on each tube stub of the top connector. (Fig. 4)
Make sure that every PVC tube connection is secure.

Step 4: INSTALL THE CAB SKIN
Drape the cab skin [F] over the frame. Be careful not to scratch the
plastic windows.
Working from the inside, gradually pull the skin over the frame.
Locate the hook and loop straps along each front corner of the skin on the
inside and fasten them to the front middle ribs of the frame. Next, locate the
hook and loop sleeves along the back ends of the skin and attach to the rear
middle ribs of the frame. (Fig. 5)
Locate the web straps along the bottom part of the skin and attach to the
mounting bar. (Fig. 6) These web straps help keep the frame tight.
Note: The cab skin is designed to fit snugly to the cab frame. It may
take some effort to work the skin down over the cab frame and get
the fit just right.
Step 5: Adjusting the Cab
In order to get the most weather protection from wind and snow you may adjust
your cab in three ways: rotating the angle front to back, moving it side to side
and changing the height on the handlebar upright.
On some machines it may be necessary to shift the entire cab from a
centered position 2"-3" to the left or right in order to clear the travel path of the
rotating handle on the snowblower that controls the direction in which the snow
is blown from the machine.
Loosen the locknuts [G] on the U-bolts [H] and rotate the mounting bar in the
clamps to change the angle forward or backwards, slide the mounting bar side
to side or move it up or down. These changes will allow you to find the position
that is right for you. (Fig. 7)
