Transport and storing
•
The appliance must be thoroughly cleaned and kept
out of reach of unauthorised persons when stored
for a long time.
•
Never store or transport the compressor turned over and
under pressure!
•
Pressure in the air jet may get reduced when the
compressed air gets cooler.
Assembly
Fit the transport wheels using a screwdriver as shown in
picture 2.
The order of bolts, nuts and washers is clear. Fastening material
– bolts, nuts, etc. – included in the supply.
Now fasten the rubber bumper at the bottom on the tank front.
Putting the appliance into operation
The compressor may be put into operation after reading the
general safety instructions
and
safety instructions before
putting the appliance into operation for the first time
. In doing
so, proceed as follows:
Switching on
Plug the compressor feeder cable.
Press the On/Off button (2).
The compressor has been fitted with an automatic
pressure switch that switches the compressor off after
the maximum operating pressure is reached and
automatically on when air is needed again.
Operating pressure control
•
The operating pressure can be easily adjusted – turn the
adjustment knob (4) in the + direction, the operating
pressure will increase. Turn the knob in the - direction, the
operating pressure will drop. The operating pressure may
get fixed by tightening the adjustment ring.
•
The compressor has been fitted with an automatic safety
valve releasing pressure in case of overpressure. Pressure
in the air jet may be released manually by pulling the valve
ring (6).
Switching off
Compressor to be switched off using the On/Off button
(2) at all times and unplugged if not being used.
Be particular about the necessary delivered amount of the
pneumatic appliance! The pressure itself is NOT decisive for
perfect or sufficient operation. Short compressor starting after a
long period of storing without using it is normal!
Any scheduled repairs should only be executed by trained
specialised staff.
Never switch the compressor off using the plug.
Pressure switch
The compressor has been fitted with an automatic pressure
switch that is switched off by the compressor after reaching the
maximum operating pressure and switched automatically on
when air is needed. The cut-off pressure cannot be changed.
Inspections and servicing
Unplug the compressor before any work on the appliance. When
the compressor is not going to be used for a long time, it is
practical to add a few oil drops on the air filter insert. By this, the
compressor cylinder walls will be pre-lubricated when the
appliance is started the next time.
