AM Mode 4 When a mask condition has been detected, the AM
output will switch OFF AND the alarm relay will
de-energise. The mask condition is now latched. The
latch can be reset, if the Test input is high and a
successful walk test alarm is generated after
approximately 15 seconds from the end of the mask
condition.
The red LED will indicate the mask condition, when
enabled, by following the AM output.
Note that the Anti-Mask output is the collector of a
NPN ransistor with its emitter connected to the sensors
- 12 Volt terminal. The transistor is in the ON state
when not indicating a mask attempt and is capable of
sinking 10mA dc at less than 1.0 Volt. When indicating
a mask attempt the transistor is in the OFF state and is
capable of withstanding 24 Volt dc.
