4.
FLIGHT PROCEDURES
4.1.
STARTING THE BASE
Before starting the flight procedures, it is necessary to install a GNSS receiver that will
serve as a base in the field, this base must be close to the takeoff location and should
collect raw data, preferably in Rinex format and the
recording rate 1Hz (1 observation
per second)
. This collection must take place before, during and after the flight
procedures, thus ensuring that the entire flight interval is covered with data from this
database, thus making post-processing possible.

4.2.
POSITIONING THE DRONE
Attention! The drone should be positioned close to the base that is collecting raw data.
If the drone is positioned 500 meters from the base, it must be at least 10 minutes
with the PPK kit on before taking off.
It is important that the takeoff is made from a point of known coordinates and that this
point is visible to be used as a control.
To position the drone correctly, place the optical center of the camera coinciding with
the center of the control point as shown in the Figure 49.
