Move the the finger evenly down over the sensor. Move the entire hand with
the finger. For the best results, drag the distal phalanx completely over the
sensor. The movement takes roughly 1 s.
General tips on how to obtain a good quality fingerprint
The best results can be obtained using the index, middle or ring finger.
The images obtained from scanning the thumb or little finger cannot be
easily analysed.
If fingers are often wet, store these when they are wet.
The fingers of children aged around 5 years or older will work.
