engine switch and fuel switch to the “OFF”

position.

WARNING:

Fuel is highly flammable and can be

explosive. Only handle fuel outdoors

and  keep  sparks,  heat  and  flames

away. Wipe up any spills immediately.

3. Do not change oil while engine is warm.

(Refer to “Changing the Oil” section on

page 16.)

4. Remove the spark plug and pour 20ml of

clean engine oil into the cylinder. Rotate

the engine several times to distribute the

oil, and replace the spark plug.

5. Pull the starter grip slowly until you feel

some resistance. At this point, the piston is

coming up on its compression stroke and

both the intake and exhaust valves are

closed. In this position, it helps to protect

the engine from internal corrosion.

6. Make sure the storage area is a dry and

clean environment.

Calculating Your
Power Needs

1.  Using the chart on the following page as a

guide, list all items requiring power simul-

taneously.

2. Then add up all the “running wattage” re-

quirements for all items.

3. Add to that total the highest of the “start-

ing wattages” you listed down. Now you

know approximately how much power you

need to start and run your appliances and

equipment.
