Mounting on the conveyer
There are two designs.
If the conveyer’s width is not over 3m, it can be protected by a heat cable as long
as the conveyer. The heat cable should be fixed to the appurtenance where
locates 2.25m over the conveyer center. The appurtenance can be a supporting
wire or any existing fixings. The supporting wire can provide a strutting piece and
it can be tightened by a screw every 75m. In order to prevent the heat cable falling,
firmly clip the supporting wire and heat cable every 4m
~
5m with a fastener. It’s
recommended that the supporting wire be a
φ
2 stainless steel rope, each not be
over 150m long (galvanized steel ropes can be used as a replacement ). The
mounting method is shown in Fig. 11.

Fig. 11 Mounting of the Heat Cable
The heat cable can be mounted on the two sides of the conveyer. Connect the
heat cable through heat-conductive board and roller bearing to detect over-heat
because of bearing friction and coal powder accumulating. Please install it
according to the field situation but do not affect operation and maintenance.
Mounting is shown in Fig. 12.
